What Exam Twin is
Exam Twin writes practice exams from study materials you upload, grades your answers, and turns the questions you miss into flashcards. It is a study tool.
Practice only
Use Exam Twin to prepare, from materials you already have. Never use it during a graded exam, quiz, test or assignment, or in any way your school's academic integrity rules don't allow. It isn't designed or marketed for that.
AI-written questions can be wrong
Questions, answers, rubrics, grades and feedback are written by AI (Anthropic's Claude) and can contain mistakes. Each question cites the page or photo it came from so you can check it. Your course materials and your instructor are the authority. Exam Twin doesn't promise any grade.
Your materials
Only upload materials you have the right to use for your own study, such as your own notes and the slides or handouts your instructor gave you. Don't upload other people's personal information. You keep all rights to what you upload. You let us process it only to make your exams, as the privacy page describes.
Free exam and age
Your first exam is free, with no account. You must be 18 or older to buy a pass.
Sending a practice exam to your class
- You can send a practice exam you made to classmates with a link. Anyone with the link can take their own copy of its questions, with the page each one cites and the words it quotes. Send it only to people in your class, who have the same materials, and don't post it publicly.
- Taking a copy is free and doesn't use up the taker's free exam. Copies are graded like a free exam, so their grading can pause for the day when the daily AI limit is reached.
- When 3 other devices have finished a copy of your exam, your device gets one extra free exam. A device earns this once. Your own devices don't count.
- Deleting your exam turns its link off. Copies classmates already took stay theirs.
Passes
- A pass is $9.99 for 30 days, paid once through Stripe. It does not renew: nothing more is ever charged unless you buy another pass. Buying one while a pass is running adds 30 days to its end.
- All sales are final. No refunds. Try the free exam and the sample decks first, to see whether Exam Twin suits you before you pay.
- Fair use: up to 10 new exams a day, and 60 per 30 days, retakes included.
The service
Exam Twin can be unavailable, limited, or changed. It has daily limits on AI use, and free exams can pause for the day when the limit is reached.
